The Shambaugh team worked weekends and holidays to minimize the interruption
to the plant. This project required a great deal of planning and organization to complete
within an operating facility with almost 50 refrigeration tie-ins and many other
process and utility tie-ins.
Scope of Services
- Construction of new package forming room
- Relocation of existing package forming equipment
- Remodeling of the existing dry goods warehouse making it a production room
- Installation of process and packaging equipment to support a new ice cream line
- Construction of a new spiral freezer
- Installation of two new pasteurized mix storage silos
- Upgrade of an existing HTST pasteurizer to increase capacity
- Construction of a new 22,000 square-foot dry goods warehouse
- Installation of one new 200 ton Frick booster compressor and one 800 ton Evapco condenser
