Paul’s expertise, his commitment to the Shambaugh organization, and his passion for excellence in construction, engineering and facilities services is evident in the strong work ethic he models throughout the Shambaugh companies.
As Chief Executive Officer, Paul is accountable for not only the Corporate Operations, but for the entire Shambaugh organization which is comprised of more than 2,750 employees across the United States. Paul establishes direction and manages process implementation for Shambaugh & Son’s estimating, engineering, project management, construction services, facilities maintenance, financial/accounting, and data processing functions.
From first customer contact through job completion, Paul helps to ensure the high quality, safety and performance you’d expect from a leading national specialty contracting company.
Paul has served Shambaugh in multiple capacities throughout his 20-plus-year career, initially as an on-site Project Engineer and Project Manager. A career highlight was his role as on-site engineer overseeing the construction and installation of the Marzetti greenfield plant in Horse Cave, Kentucky which was recognized as the 2007 U.S. Food Plant of the Year.
Paul received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Process Engineering from Purdue University and holds professional engineering registrations in 42 states.
Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and four children and working at the family farm. He is very active in his church community, is an avid student of Tang Soo Do, and enjoys fishing and hunting.
