Jeffrey L. Johns
Senior Vice President
As Senior Vice President, Jeff is the lead on business development and client care specifically in the Food and Pharmaceutical Process arenas. After leading the Food Process Group as Division Manager for 13 years, his expertise is beneficial not only to our organization, but invaluable to our customers.
Jeff’s professional background has prepared him for this very unique position, one of being able to not only analyze food processes, but possessing personal knowledge to determine how a technical decision might impacts the overall plant’s profitability.
Jeff has over 40 years of food industry experience as a systems designer, manufacturing administrator, and multi-facility executive. During that time, he has designed dairy, food and beverage, refrigeration and non-food manufacturing systems.
He has also held various production, plant, regulatory compliance, engineering, sales and marketing, logistics and manufacturing management positions.
Jeff earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science from Kansas State University, an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from Arkansas State University, and also studied at Bloch School of Management, University of Missouri Kansas City earning his MBA.
In addition, he has taken various AMA (American Management Association), OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration), NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health), as well as other continuing education courses. Furthermore, he has implemented multiple projects in food and beverage processing, bakery, pharmaceutical, and refrigeration.
Additionally, Jeff was instrumental in composing numerous plant engineering and management strategies during his employment with Foremost Foods Company, APV and the Kroger Company
The Personal Side
Jeff is married to his wife Mary Ann and they have one son. He enjoys his time riding his motorcycle and ATV, as well as boating with his family and interacting with his exotic birds.
