Shambaugh & Son Awarded Engineering of Largest Food Process Project in Company's History - Agronomica

 

We completed a complete design of a $60 million integrated agribusiness facility in Fulton County, Pennsylvania for Agronomica Industries, Inc. This fully integrated "plant of the future" is totally unique in the United States, and perhaps in the world. With the synergistic design of five major processing operations together on one site, the byproduct of each process serves as the input for the next. This yields productivity gains, product enhancements, process efficiencies, and quality control unique to the food industry. Environmentally, the process effluents are part of a closed looped design and result in zero discharge off-site.
