Shambaugh & Son Utilizes New Software

Shambaugh & Son has begun utilizing the following new software for increases in productivity and efficiency along with cost savings:

• AutoPLANT P&IDs to create P&ID drawings quickly and uniformly.  The design data is always consistent and “automatically” inserted into the project database from the drawing, reducing construction engineering time and costs.

• State-of-the-art Real Vision Imaging (RVI) system to store data electronically, eliminating paper files.

• Our Job Cost System available via the internet which allows our customers to view the “real time” financial status of their open book projects.

• Computer Estimating – We have led advances in estimating software with automatic value engineering and cost savings alternatives.
