Shambaugh & Son Wins Design-Build Project of the Year Awards

Shambaugh & Son was awarded the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Great Lakes Region Process Project of the Year Award, for its $60,000,000 Michigan Milk Producers Association (MMPA) Design-Build dairy project.

These awards are given out annually to the most outstanding project that most exemplifies on-time, on-budget delivery, world-class innovation, and a true teaming partnership, resulting in delivery of a successful project. Gasper Calandrino, MMPA’s Plant Engineer and project leader, commented, "this award reflects the outstanding performance of all Shambaugh personnel and the teamwork exemplified on this project, continuing our 25-year Design-Build partnership."

The MMPA project was also named U.S. Dairy Plant of the Year by Dairy Field magazine!
